Karakoram International University (KIU) organized a grand Youm-e-Tashakur (Thanksgiving Day) ceremony and rally to honor the valiant victory of Pakistan’s Armed Forces against Indian aggression during the recent conflict. According to KIU’s Public Relations Department, the event was a tribute to the heroism and professional excellence displayed by the Armed Forces and a reaffirmation of national unity and readiness to defend the homeland at all costs. The event was hosted under the supervision of the Provost Office and was chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah. In his address, the Vice Chancellor commended the Pakistan Army, Navy, and Air Force for their remarkable response in Operation Bunyān al-Marsūs, which resulted in neutralizing Indian aggression and downing enemy aircraft. He stated, “The entire nation is proud of its brave forces who proved that Pakistan is a peaceful, sovereign, and undefeatable nation.”
